it varies. most of the antennas and radios, yes, china or similar. andrews and commscope build most of the cables. they claim it's built domestically but i doubt it

will never happen, at least in terms of new towers. chinese steel is fine and a fraction of the price of us steel for something that's just going to sit in a field for a couple decades. that said, the need of an actual tower is shrinking as microwave antennas become more prevalent. in any decent sized city, probably one in 10 streetlights you see have an cell antenna shrouded inside
