Wrong. I’m giving you the math. My purchasing power has increased under Trump. If you have any assets in the market so has yours.

Your definition of “theft of wealth” will never ever get to zero. You’re the one being unreasonable. Who was the last president that did not commit “theft of wealth?”

It's not even just the theft of wealth, it's issued as debt due back with interest. You have to keep printing money to even pay the interest and the moment money stops being printed the economy automatically enters deflation as a result. But it could at least be done debt free.

You can't even deny it. You just keep trying to name ways to make it hurt less.

In an honest monetary system inflation should be 0%. More than that is a loss of purchasing power for the dollar and thus a theft of wealth from the people who use it for their currency.

Government would print money from the treasury. Directly. Not as debt. When the economy increases you can print more money to accommodate the amount of trading done and not deflate. When the economy decreases and inflation starts, you need to increase taxes and stop printing the money.

Yes I recognize the need to have backing like gold and silver to keep inflation down, but it would be nice if we had a government that really served the people and didn't.

Fractional reserve banking should be illegal.

And really, usury should be too if you want to get right down to it. I realize that is unrealistic in our society right now, but that would be the dream. The answer to your obvious question is - savings.

I don’t know. I do know that everyone who did was a thief.

No, inflation is a rise in aggregate prices.

Increasing the supply of currency is the biggest driver of inflation, but it is not inflation itself.
