What are the chances the Democrats do not go along with this because it “doesn’t go far enough”? Which everyone knows is code for it “doesn’t allow us to continue to harp on this if we let it pass and gives the Republicans the credit for solutions (similar to the DACA deal proposed by Trump).

Exactly, yet you feel OK legislating based on nothing more than "we've got to do something." You can't support the position at all, and your attempts to do so were based on inaccurate information.

You really don't see the issue with that?

These are horrible moves. They imply that the fix for this shite is more gun regulations..and they won’t prevent anything. This will lead to calls that we “didn’t go far enough”

Horrible how? Who cares? Bump stocks weren’t on anyone’s radar until Vegas.

A horrible move would be a continued “frick you” stance. More guns the better just looks bad. Especially with the change in that the kids are protesting. Do you want to keep “winning” or do you want to be voted out in 2018 and 2020

Nah. That's what the assault weapon ban does that I think is stupid. There's literally no argument that a AR 15 is more lethal than a less military looking rifle of the same caliber.

Nah. You don't agree with my assertion based on a difference of opinion. That's fair. But it is what it is. A difference of opinion.

I see a major issue with passing laws that have no theoretical chance of helping. I also have a major issue with doing nothing because there is no guarantee that it will completely solve the issue.

Then offer something more than "we can't just do nothing" or incorrect assertions.

Yesterday wasn't a simple difference of opinion. You fell on your face, and hard. We can rehash that if you'd like.

Yet you support legislation that does exactly that.

The number of people who I know who want to do nothing is exactly zero.

I have. You don't agree. C'est la vie.

I don't think so. You don't agree.

Good to know.

U believe these kids will have a Change of heart? Do liberals become conservatives? U guys are so naive to think that law won’t be coming back when this country is shifting to the left.

I don’t understand why you’ll willfully ignore the facts. Y’all complain about liberals every day. Is it hard to believe that there or more of them and they’re gaining ground at a faster pace?

Either you’re blind or u don’t mind.
