Don't leave out the decade he stood with and supported the Clintons before that, RobbBro.

Remind me again which Republicans the Clintons ran against?

Bush I, and Dole?

Bush and Dole were such terrible representatives of conservatives that a viable 3rd candidate arose

Someone who got 20% of the national vote? When the #2 candidate got 37%?

Receiving a fifth of the vote makes one a "viable" candidate? A candidate who never really had a prayer of receiving a single Electoral Vote, and certainly no chance of getting 270?

Perot was a spoiler. "Viable" means to have a reasonable chance of success. He didn't.

Tell me exactly what you disagree with DeSantis on? Go ahead. Then tell me exactly what you agree with Trump on. Give me specifics. Go ahead.

Such idiots.

I want the wall finished
DeSoros has made no comment

I'm old enough to want my SS that I paid in over a lifetime
DeSantis wants to push it back

I dont want to be involved in territorial disputes
DeSantis flipped flopped all over this

I dont want my leader to be comprised by the DIM lites of the GOPe
Desantis backtracking all this weekend confirms that

I want low gas and grocery prices
Not sure if DeSantis will take on China, who now wants to switch to the "petroyuan"

I dont want forced medical insurance purchases
The backers of DeSoros killed the repeal of Obamacare under Trump

Just like with Desoros now, had the GOPe not clung to a DIM lite, then Clinton would have been defeated

So in your view, it was on the GOP to abandon an incumbent POTUS and run an independent?

Scorching hot take.

Coming from a group of people that want to abandon a former president for a guy that likely wont run. And has now overtaken and leads Biden by 7 points. Larger than the margin of error

But he cant win, amirite?

There is no such thing as this. No one is "leading" anything. It isn't a horse race.

Besides, nationwide popular vote totals will never be relevant, especially those from an internet poll 20 months before the election.

I've posted this before and I'll do it again. But here is the current delegate count depending on the polls you want to believe:

Trump: 22 with NH
DeSantis: 294 with Fl & Ca

or this alternative:

Trump 144 with NH & Fl
DeSantis: 172 with Ca

National polls mean nothing. Twitter polls are even worse. The Southeast is where Trump rules supreme. Once you get out of that area things can change dramatically. The Southeast isn't capable of delivering Trump a victory even if he were to sweep. The numbers aren't there. If DeSantis runs he has a real shot to win. No one should dismiss that. He could also get blown out. No one should dismiss that either.

Why would anyone believe any of these stupid polls? All the polls predicted a Trump win last time. The polls said there was going to be this big red wave. Why is it that Democrats are the only ones allowed to "steal" an election? Why aren't Republicans stuffing ballots now in preparation for voting day. I wouldn't count on Trump getting re-elected unless the GOP starts playing the Dems game.
