Ilhan Omar DID marry her brother and said she would 'do what she had to do to get him "papers" to keep him in U.S.', reveals Somali community leader
The source is a Nameless "community leader"
Thats doesnt sound credible.
I would love to see her Deported. It really scary how "that religious group" has become "mini Somalia"
But on the other hand. I think she is pretty.

The freshman Democrat cited an "irretrievable breakdown" of her marriage with Ahmed Hirsi in her filing Friday in Hennepin County District Court. Aside from a period of separation in which Omar married another man — Ahmed Nur Said Elmi — Omar has been with Hirsi for years and he is the father of her three children. Marriage license and divorce records show Omar legally married Hirsi in 2018, after her divorce from Elmi was finalized.
So a marriage license exists as well as filing for a divorce. Now all that has to happen is a DNA test to see if they are brother and sister. It’s like arguing with a 2 year old with you libs. You can claim I’m married to anyone, but a marriage license and a divorce is proof of a marriage.

Uh, uh, uhh, you are asking me to prove the accusation. You’re the guy who said whats’her-face should prove she didn’t marry her brother. Can she just ask you to provide the marriage certificate?

I can provide a marriage license from 30+ years ago to my wife,
A marriage certificate to your wife doesn’t prove you didn’t also marry your mother.
Still waiting. You haven’t proved it.

Here’s how the outcomes usually look depending on the biological relationship:
?? Full Siblings Shared DNA: ~50% Genetic markers: Most alleles match at nearly every marker tested (e.g., 20 of 21). Probability of relationship: >99% full-sibling, <0.01% unrelated. Conclusion: Strongly supports full sibling relationship.
?? Half Siblings Shared DNA: ~25% Genetic markers: About half as many matches as full siblings (e.g., 10–12 of 21). Probability of relationship: 90–95% half-sibling vs unrelated, but sometimes it overlaps with “aunt/uncle/niece/nephew” levels. Conclusion: Consistent with half sibling, not consistent with full sibling.
?? Unrelated Shared DNA: <2% (basically just the same as any two random people from the same population). Genetic markers: Very few matches (0–2 of 21). Probability of relationship: >99% unrelated. Conclusion: No biological sibling relationship detected
If they are not related it would be very clear. If they were full siblings it would be very clear. If they were half siblings it would be 90-95% clear. LOL, we just need those samples for Penrod.

Why do Western democracies give other countries representation in their legislatures? It's baffling.

First of all, an unattributed quote from somewhere doesn’t prove shite. Second, you are conceding the case to me by trying to prove she married her brother. I don’t have an opinion about whether or not she did. I think she is a deplorable person, so it would not surprise me. My point was that it is incumbent on the accuser to do the proving. Your attempt, lame as it was, to prove she married her brother is conceding my point.
FTR, I hope someone proves she did.

Seriously, how dumb are you? LOL, you haven’t proved I married my mother, lol. I can prove Ilhan Omar married this man (Ahmed Nur Said Elmi) and there is a marriage license to prove it dumbass. She also has a divorce from Ahmed Nur Said Elmi. You have no documentation you can’t present to prove I married my mom. The set of facts you provided aren’t even related. Come up with some better arguments.

That’s bullshite! It is incumbent on the one making the accusation to bring the proof. Making an accusation, then saying that the accused has not disproved it, is contemptible behavior.
This isn’t court of law
We’re talking about a subversive enemy of America who has absolutely nothing in common with us.
But regardless, I acknowledged I don’t know the truth of it. The fact that a bunch of lib groups set out to disprove it and couldn’t is relevant whether it’s a particularly fair standard or not.

YES!! And for reasons other than marrying her brother.

That’s a low standard, Pettifogger. As I asked that other poster, try proving you didn’t marry your mother. Where do you even start?

Using a lame Schumer line? Really? I feel sorry for your family
Posted on 9/18/25 at 8:29 pm to Pettifogger
No court of law. I’m not saying anything other than a DNA test would prove or disprove Ilhan married or didn’t marry her brother. That’s a fact. We know those 2 were married. If this was done it would have to likely be an under the table kind of thing. It wouldn’t be that hard to do it. It wouldn’t be admissible in court. It would prove the truth though. It’s just a matter of getting 2 DNA samples. People leave them everywhere.

Unnamed sources can be useful as leads on what to investigate, but as proof? No.
Posted on 9/18/25 at 8:33 pm to Penrod
There aren’t rumors I did, I wouldn’t have any reason to, and there aren’t any people backing those claims. Investigations by people seeking to disprove it would likely be able to find pretty strong arguments in my favor. There aren’t any social media postings with my kids referring to their grandmother as “mom”.
I certainly didn’t claim the fact checking failures were dispositive. But what are we to do, ignore it?

Speaking of dumb. I never set out to prove you married your mother, being fairly confident you did not. I set out to prove that you could not prove you didn’t marry your mother, and so far I’m winning that gambit.

Nah, investigate it if you want. If it’s true she should be prosecuted. I’m arguing that it is incumbent on the accuser to do the proving, and that posters who are gloating that she hasn’t proved otherwise are off base. It’s somewhere between hard to impossible for her to prove she didn’t marry her brother even if she didn’t.
