Well, she isn't running a company. She is an advisor.

She has been head of the TCEQ, which I suppose qualifies her for this position, but I'm not sure she was ever qualified to run TCEQ, either.

She is paid shill, it would seem.

You Melt

This isn't the 1950s to 1970s. He's right. Most people on this board are all about professional degrees, trade school certification, and owning busineses. That's as conservative as it gets (and is generally the best way to get a job).

Trump can hire whoever he wants. But based on background alone, this isn't a good call.

What degree do environmental activists usually have?

Damn man, we had a community organizer as president for eight years. What did he know about foreign policy, balancing a budget, etc. and you want to throw down on a non-scientist being selected as an environmental advisor?

There are plenty of female scientists. This pick is ridiculous.

He had an undergrad degree in political science with a specialty in international relations and a law degree. That's a hell of a lot different than a degrees in East Asian studies and comparative literature.

White served under former Texas Gov. Rick Perry, now Trump’s energy secretary, for six years on a commission overseeing that state’s environmental agency.

She’s so unqualified! Just admit you’re pissed because she denies human-caused climate change.

Scientifically, she is correct. Plants eat CO2.

Trump names non-scientist to environmental adviser position
This is what I can't believe from the article.

quote:
“I am not a scientist, but in my personal capacity I have many questions that remain unanswered by current climate policy,” said White, who holds academic degrees in East Asian studies and comparative literature. “We need to have a more precise explanation of the human role and the natural role.”

How in the hell is she qualified to be the environmental advisor to the President of the United States? This is as swampy as it gets.

I love it. I am totally on board with this diversity of opinions things. Please explain to me why an English major cannot have a say in climate change? I welcome her "out of the box" viewpoints

Hell, I am a doctor, and last I heard, just because you are a Doctor Like Senator Cassidy, doesn't mean you should have a bigger role in the health care debate.

Let's do this!

Would you rather he pull from the corrupted echo chamber...

There's another thread on pg 1 right now that shows KGB infiltrated and subverted the academic community...

One of the KGB's aims was to prove natural resources run out...
The ruskies at the top know otherwise...it is so plentiful, if the West believes it's scarcity, then it drives up the price on one of the few way Russia actually makes money...

Now it's a brainseed to everyone that's seen Wall-ee...who the KGB claims they also subverted
