re: Trump/Musk Informal Press Conference Regarding DOGE

What Musk and Trump referenced during this presser was basic as far as operational controls, payment issuance and the absence of proper data coding to support a business.
When Musk referenced payments to terrorist he was referring to the OFAC list and that the government apparently doesn’t even have a control in place to ping payees off that list of terrorist and otherwise undesirables.
If this turns out all true, every taxpayer should be pissed.

We are fatter, dumber and lazier as a country and have saddled our children and grandchildren with more debt than they can ever pay. Yet one person was elected on a promise to do what everyone admits should have been done for decades and stupid people want him arrested and are actively judge shopping in an attempt to stop simple audits of how taxpayers money is being spent. Why don't you frickers want taxpayers to know where their money goes?
Trump/Musk pointing out waste. fraus, and incompetence is called a power grab by the dems. The American taxpayers are outraged. If the dems want to be on the wrong side of this argument then so be it. Na
If not now, when?

The DoD has failed 7 audits in a row and nothing was done. You had your chance so STFU and enjoy the show.

Wrong. These young tech geeks are exactly what is needed. Their job is to find and uncover the data. They aren't making decisions once the information is found.

Love how transparent this administration is trying to be. Pull back the veil. Never seen such in my lifetime.
And to add to that, I love the visuals of this Q&A. I believe every aspect is intentional. Musk standing with his son present. What does that picture say to the American people? How about DJT sitting? Is there any question that he is the President, he is the one in charge. Quite interesting. Everything is intentional.

There's another aspect to this that some might be missing. This is not a conventional audit. In a typical audit, the entity being audited has agreed to the audit.
But, this is much more of what could be called a hostile audit. The entities being "audited" didn't agree to this, and for obvious reasons they don't want it. The "owners" of this mess ( crooks like Schumer, Warren, Maxine, and unelected fat-cat bureaucrats) are actually screaming, fighting back, and even going to court to stop it.
So, they aren't exactly opening their books to DOGE. That means that these young tech geeks have to go find it. And, guess what? I have absolutely NO DOUBT that Elon has assembled a team that is highly capable of using their area of expertise to find the relevant information. I mean, just look at what they've already uncovered.
Sit back and enjoy the show. THIS PROCESS WAS LONG OVERDUE.

but I'll try a good faith argument.
Then proceeds to spoit MSM talking points.
Your side kicked around the idea of 15 year olds voting, listened intently to Greta, said 12 year olds were mature enough to alter their bodies, but are now worried about adults doing adult things.
People at the DMV have access to private info, let's not pretend there is a high bar to clear for that kind of access.

Got the geographical location wrong. Still, we have FEMA passing up Republican homes for assistance while we buy foreigners rubber.
Nah frick that, take a wrecking ball to it, prosecute these frickers too.

DOGE will end up being the greatest political thing in my lifetime or the biggest disappointment.
Everyone should agree this kind of transparency is needed. What happens next is anyone's guess though.

They were background checked and deemed safe……by the executive branch of the United States of America.
You can’t claim to enter into a good faith argument when you, yourself, aren’t in good faith.

Are you are assuming that they have not been vetted? Space X has military contracts which require security clearances to work on the program. One of them work for Palantir(PLTR) which has some really nice DOD contracts.
If you really want to know what they are doing then read PLTRs profile becasue DOGE is basiclly doing the same thing

Palantir Technologies Inc. builds and deploys software platforms for the intelligence community to assist in counterterrorism investigations and operations in the United States, the United Kingdom, and internationally. The company provides Palantir Gotham, a software platform which enables users to identify patterns hidden deep within datasets, ranging from signals intelligence sources to reports from confidential informants, as well as facilitates the handoff between analysts and operational users, helping operators plan and execute real-world responses to threats that have been identified within the platform. It also offers Palantir Foundry, a platform that transforms the ways organizations operate by creating a central operating system for their data; and allows individual users to integrate and analyze the data they need in one place. In addition, it provides Palantir Apollo, a software that delivers software and updates across the business, as well as enables customers to deploy their software virtually in any environment; and Palantir Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP) that provides unified access to open-source, self-hosted, and commercial large language models (LLM) that can transform structured and unstructured data into LLM-understandable objects and can turn organizations' actions and processes into tools for humans and LLM-driven agents. The company was incorporated in 2003 and is headquartered in Denver, Colorado.

Should have hired degreed CPAs with extensive audit knowledge and experience. All of the big accounting firms have big audit departments in cities across America. An audit of this size and importance needs experienced professionals. LMAO!!! The whole point of this exercise is to save tax payer money, not spend more than is necessary!! Your 200 auditors wouldn't outperform Musk half a dozen or so computer savants but cost much much more and take much much longer to accomplish the task.

I pray it will be the former. If it's the latter, I think that will only be the case if the Deep State, coupled with rogue judges, are successful in prohibiting Elon and DOGE from performing and completing their task.
I'm not too worried about the judges, because surely the Supreme Court would ultimately make the correct ruling. But the corrupt elected officials and unelected fat-cat bureaucrats will surely fight to the death to keep their nefarious activities under wraps.
