If my memory serves me correctly, the tribes were all supportive of the designation of Bears Ears as a national monument.

Thats because they hold a racist grudge against white people.
Sad.

For a professed religious man, he doesn’t give a crap about Native American sacred grounds.

Now it's just up to the state of Utah to decide how they want to use that land.

Except most of it is still federal land, just not a national monument.

Hilarious.

I'm not going to lie, when I first clicked the link I wasn't sure what was going on or being discussed, but after seeing the Liberals get so upset about it I knew that it was for the better good of America

Thank you president Donald Trump!

How many Trumpsters will be upset when they realize the land is still controlled by the federal government?

This whole story is being spun by all sides. Yes, it lost monument status, but the government still owns it. It's still public land.

I'll be pissed if access is taken away to any climbing walls in Indian Creek or if I can see a god damn drill while on one of the walls, but from what I understand that isn't much of a concern. People are flipping shite over this in the climbing community but they seem to have some fundamental misunderstandings of the situation. It reminds me of the many conservatives who thought Obama was wrong no matter what he did. For these people, no matter what Trump does it is wrong. Sad to see so many people lose all objectivity over personal beliefs and political affiliation.

Ownership didn’t change.

You guys must have never worked on an Indian reservation. They make New Orleans and Chicago governments look like boy scouts. The corruption there is unbelievable. I wouldn't give them one acre to screw up.

I thought monuments were important to Trump.

Those kind of monuments out West protecting the land is not his kind of heritage. Expendable.
