What part of temporary are you having a tough time understanding. Why didn't they seek permanent status in 30 years?
This is the kind of government crap that should be abolished. Do it right or not at all. No temporary 30 year bullshite.
Oh and as a reminder.

This seems like common sense, but temporary doesn't mean 20 plus years and then bitch when somoene actually says "hey temporary meant temporary:
In the long term does this mean much? No , not really. But symbolically it just feels good that someone is actually enforcing our laws.

18 months is way too long. It does not take that long for a person to pack their shite and go home. 6 months should've been at most what was granted. If your goal is to get them out, it should be before a new congressional group is in that can bail them out once again.

Congress can change the law any time they want, and no one should be advocating an end around around that. Trump's job is to enforce existing law, and existing law says these folks temporary status ended long ago.
