Is it a requirement to know bible passages to believe in God’s work?
But, knowing at least one solitary Bible passage might be a good indicator as to whether someone does believe in God's work.
And one thing that has continued to amaze me is that, as important the Christian voters have been for Trump, would it be too much to ask for Trump to pick one single Bible passage and commit it to memory, if for no other reason than to be able to respond when one of those voters asks him what his favorite passage is.
One would think that not having an answer would embarrass him, or at least make him uncomfortable, but, for some strange reason, it doesn't.

Lately, this one seems appropriate:
Ephesians 6:12
12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

I sort of like the one about smiting thine enemy with the jawbone of an arse. Use an arse to beat an arse!

Who cares? If you love Jesus with all of your heart, soul and might you don’t need to sit around memorizing words in a book written by men.
Yes you do. It prevents you from misquoting “heart, soul, and mind.” Psalm 1 says there are great blessings from meditating on the word day and night. Just consider it. 1 verse a week. It makes a difference. Then you don’t walk around saying “somewhere in the Bible”.

Good God you are a fricking creep.
You are reducing someone's faith to the equivalent of a spelling bee. Nobody has to prove shite to a nobody like you.
I am not even religious but assholes like you annoy me more than any religious person I know.

It's not primarily about his religion.
It's more about the fact that he won't go out of his way to learn a single Bible passage, and even more, how he is not the least bit embarrassed or even slightly uncomfortable when he is asked for his favorite Bible passage and he doesn't have one.
