No, it's actually not like that at all. Voter ID requirement to vote in the first place, is not the same as intentionally arranging the ballot in a way to confuse voters and dupe them out of votes to benefit your candidate (who is not the controversial candidate at issue on the ballot)... that's election interference and it's dirty as frick. But hey, at least Democrats didn't just completely remove the names of candidates from the ballot they didn't like. So, I guess there's that. Baby steps.

Are you alleging he did not qualify legally? If not, how is he "not a real candidate" if he followed the proper legal process to get on the ballot?

This is what are country has come to. It’s run by lawyers. “Can you legally get away with it? Then go for it”
The only intent for him to be on the ballot is to catch a voter making a mistake and hoping those mistakes are enough to get the incumbent out of the run off. Yeah it probably won’t work. This time. But we’ve had so many elections where the margins are slim. So even the slimmest of margins caused by a tactic like this will be replicated.
Well done. Just another strike to our democracy.

Yeah these are shady tactics but at the same time how would you even propose a law to rectify this type of tactic?
But anyone who is saying hes not real candidate is dumb because he is for sure on the ballot and was certified by the State of Alaska to appear on the ballot, and has already been litigated to the highest court in Alaska
