Your comic doesn’t address the fact that Trump never issued a shut down order.

Which is dishonest, because Trump protested when some states opened against Fauci's orders.

The Trump administration’s written guidelines to slow COVID-19’s spread early in the pandemic called for shutting down schools and for people to avoid going to restaurants except for takeout, and avoid discretionary travel and shopping.

President Donald Trump said Wednesday he "strongly disagrees" with Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp's decision to allow businesses like barbershops and nail salons to reopen, a day after he praised him during the White House briefing.

15 days to slow the spread was all Trump. Governors followed Trump’s task force recommendations.
That opened the doors for lockdowns.
I’m old enough to remember when Trump was pissed at Kemp and Desantis for ignoring lockdowns and reopening.

I know exactly what it means.
One of the biggest and most consequential examples, RvW.

Not an order. You know who did issue an order?

It’s dishonest to say trump never issued an order? Perfect. Link the order and I will state that Trump was completely wrong to issue it.

Maybe he started off wanting to do the right thing…I wouldn’t know. But he’s either lost his mind or he’s controlled

Leaving unwritten rights to the states is anti-federalism

You guys need to learn yourselves about the covid response team at the white house when trump was trying to be president.
He screwed up immensely by choosing those people to be on the team no doubt about that. But once he realized they were incapable and not following the data it was too late. Narrative was set and he was in a fight with his own team..

Trumps fatal flaw always was and still is he can be convinced to do anything if he thinks it’s the popular thing to do. That and he wants to be loved by his enemies. Wants to make a deal instead of standing firm on principle

Maybe so, but he damned sure sat on his arse and watched it happen, too dumb to understand it was the death of his presidency
Joe Biden brought all those jobs back. So we should just vote for him again. Why would we vote for Republicans that defunded the police and kept their states locked down?

So hes not the great divider?
at some point someone has to get the story straight.
Trump is everything but also nothing.

you left out this part, intentionally.
Some protest, Roger.

Trump couldn’t define “federalism” if you gave him an hour. It’s not because he’s incapable of it. It’s because it doesn’t even interest him.

your mistake is thinking Trumpanzees care about their fuhrer's logical consistencies

Who shut down the Federal Government?
Posted on 1/11/24 at 9:36 am to rmnldr
Trump didn't force shutdowns. He left it up to the state's governors and didn't weaponize the federal government trying to force compliance. It might be hard for some to imagine, but the founding fathers never intended the federal government to become the "king" of America. They fought a war to escape that very thing.
