That's what makes the thread hilarious.
Virtually everyone sincerely believes that in such a situation, they would act heroically.
Almost all of them are incorrect.
But, you really have no way of knowing who is correct because history is littered with literally hundreds of examples of people behaving in these situations in a manner no one would have expected(in BOTH directions)
You have supposedly known "bad asses" who don't do shite, and you have people that everyone goes, "boy, would have never expected that from them!
They've basically spent 18 pages declaring certainty about something that is unknowable.
It's prototype derangement syndrome. There's sincerely something wrong with them.

And of course one never knows how someone else might react in a given crisis situation; most have little gauge for how they themselves would react. But I can say that I can think of almost nothing suggest that Trump would act the hero and at least a few things (what I posted is among them) that suggests he wouldn't do anything.
