Why not marry someone by paying only 500 grand to get a green card? Same result but a much better deal. No need to pay tax for money made in other countries?

They will be vetted. Maybe future test scores will indicate Americans are among the best and brightest in the country.

quote:If a foreign national has $5 million laying around, he's not taking anybody's job, he's creating jobs. Wealthy people want access to our market. They also want US citizenship. $5 Million is just the entry fee and gets them access. Nobody is paying $5 million to come here to work for somebody else.
So as long as they pay it's okay for them to take jobs away from Americans?

I'll let Trump know, RaoulDuke504 from Tigerdroppings.com, thinks its a bad ideal.

Thanks for contributing productively to this thread.
You ignoring that somebody that can afford to spend 5 million is going to be a job CREATOR not a job taker isn't contributing productively to the thread either.

You’re joking right? Access to our population for their businesses? To live in the US? Those are two compelling reasons there are dozens. Stop digging

Suggestion
Announce that the first 1mln ' gold cards ' are for sale at $5ln each and that next 1mln will cost $6mln .....
that you accept #BitCoin , gold bullion , American Express and provide an international 800 number for people to call

Trump claims companies are calling him suggesting they will put up $5mln to get green cards for highly trained foreign workers / Phd students / etc . These people then can't leave that company until they pay back the $5mln

To the extent we're going to permit immigration, I don't mind some of that being reserved to wealthy creators.
But I'd rather let in [insert figure] worth of productive working class families that celebrate Western values are predominately Christian than the equivalent number of people looking for access to American markets and capital.
It's time to pick cultural winners and losers.

It is a very bad idea; we are system of law were everyone is equal.
So are we changing to a class system, that has never worked in history?

We need immigrants just like a pro football team needs draftees and free agents. But we need to pick our immigrants the way pro teams pick their players.

It’ll just encourage people from India and China to import an entire work force from their countries to work a business in the US. It’ll be passed along to infinity And the U.S. will just turn into a China/India hybrid country.
