The system and/or the law absolutely does not presume that all people view those with differing policy preferences as the enemy, or that political views render one from impartially serving on a jury.

What is? Telling people that “No, SCOTUS will not overturn a conviction because DC votes Democrat in elections”?
Eta: to think otherwise is to believe that no Republican can be convicted of a crime in the District of Columbia.
Can democrats be convicted of crimes in West Virginia or Wyoming?
