This one is legit. Right or wrong, many view this taking away freedom. That's never going to be popular.

Trump hatred is about 90% manufactured by propaganda. It's not based on anything real.
I can't agree with people whose view is powered by an imaginary bogeyman.

to start, you are 100% correct

However, he's feeding it because of his ego. Ron is smarter and handles it like a stoic.

Trumps situation today is because his reaction to pressure was less than a leader should exhibit.

The media used Dobbs to tell the weak minded that abortion was now illegal nationwide
I read a lot of news, and I have not seen this anywhere.

Can you link to two major, national news outlets that have presented the message that Dobbs made abortion illegal nationwide?

TIA.

Yeah cause this has been successfully/safely done by Conservatives the last decade.

You are a libertarian. What do you care? Dems want what you want. Just switch.
You know better than this.

Small-L libertarians align GOP over Dem at about 2:1. We are adequately-realistic to understand that the LPA is not going to win any elections.

As a result, we want the Republicans to win. In order to do that, we are trying to help you see how to earn the votes of the middle.

You can listen, or not. Your choice.

People can ask questions.

Candidates need to not appear unhinged.

You know how Democrat candidates say they're going to be moderate and then aren't? Pick whichever issues are involved in that and copy them.

You, as the base, need to stop calling every candidate who won't publicly endorse a view that's seen as unhinged by the majority of the country, a cuck.

Cool. How does that change how he's seen by the people you need to vote for your candidates to win?

Then you don't support winning elections and want to be a martyr.

So now you're blaming Trump for losses by candidates he didn't endorse?

I have seen no empirical backing for this and it is only a hunch until someone can figure out a way to do the work on this.

A lot of people tend to vote based upon the top of the ticket. As such, I think the reasonable approach is to look at analogous states with someone different at the top of the ticket. .

Virginia, for example.

I was turned on to conservatism by a HS teacher who taught free enterprise. That guy had every person in class engaged.

Its just too much work for conservatives, Democrats are outworking them.

Hank, that’s awesome. But, I’m not running for office.

I’ve always thought Rs are too honest.

They should lie more during elections. Take Val Demmings. She ran more moderate than she is.

She lied. For her, it didn’t help because of the R momentum here but she is the most recent candidate I can use as an example.

Oh, look. Another stooge that can barely speak because he's still wiping Trump's jizz off his chin.

Trump is a piece of shite. He got cucked by Fauci and let that bastard stay in his job. DeSantis will fire him about 30 minutes after he takes his hand off the Bible in January 2025.

Also abortion didn't help, I think it would be unfair to ignore that. I'm very pro life and believe it can be a winning issue if we go on the offensive and reframe the issue to what it really is. But it is going to take years to chip away at that.

Correct. We need to be clear it has nothing to do with "reproductive rights" as no woman is being prohibited from going to an ob-gyn or from getting birth control. It's a stand alone moral issue on if you can or can't take a baby's life in the womb. Push how the left is wanting to take the life up to birth. Use their words against them.

The Right needs to have more word smiths on staff that can dismantle the lefts propaganda. Maybe that is something Kari Lake can help Trump with. Messaging wording is crucial right now.

Why? She lost.

She's also an abortion flip flopper.

I also disagree. I think the time where you could rhetorically "win" is over.

You forgot Vance in ohio
JD Vance is actually the exception that proves the rule.

As far as I can tell, he is the single, solitary candidate in the entire country that gained any significant benefit from a Trump endorsement, in that he was losing when endorsed and went on to win.

Trump supporters can point to 17 bajillion winning candidates that had a Trump endorsement, but one can draw few inferences from the election of an unopposed GOP candidate for precinct dogcatcher in a deep Red county in East Bomfunk, Mississippi.

yes, all of those positions have fairly-widespread support among small-L libertarians … as do fiscal conservatism, small government, tight federalism and Constitutional strict constructionism.

Neither Democrats and the Republicans seem to be able to grasp the concept that we do not play on either of your teams.
