Gee, I wonder of the 500k how many of them will do destructive stuff like poision our Florida oranges, vote, spy or sneak whatever could harm this country in like many Chinese students are already always caught doing throughout the country.

They are taking 500k spots from Americans... so they can learn advanced STEM knowledge and bring it back to China

This is the part that absolutely pisses me off. We should be figuring out ways to get native born Americans into STEM degree programs instead of relying on a bunch of F1s who don’t even speak fricking English. Even the die hard MAGA folks should see that there’s a problem with this.
I have a hard time believing that Trump didn’t profit off of this somehow.

We’ll have 500,000 foreigners who don’t even speak a lick of English, who will come in and take engineering jobs and medical school slots from native born Americans. Who the frick knows if they’re spies for the government, but hey as long as they come and work I guess that’s considered winning according to the MAGA folks!

Why do American politicians keep on thinking that China will like us and be our friends if we just keep being nice to them? I support Trump as much as any MAGA supporter but he has bumped his head on this one.
American politicians have allowed China to rape the USA for years because big business wants access to Chinese market. They always promise to open up the Chinese market but never do. It’s a one sided relationship. Stop trying to be nice and do more business with these people. All they want to do is enslave or kill us. They don’t want to be our friends. No amount of arse kissing will change that. Let’s stop pretending they have the warm and fuzzies when it comes to the USA. Stop standing them up doing business with them and letting them steal our tech. Let them die a natural death like every commie country does sooner or later before we have to fight a war with them sooner or later.

Its double sided… few Americans actually want to go through with intense STEM graduate schooling. Its competitive and you get paid like shite.
Actually becoming a professor is like making the NFL. Every opening gets over 100 applicants… qualified applicants

At schools like Harvard, over 50% of the student body may be Asian, including the international students. When I was looking at other schools in that class, most were similar.
Of International students, China, Canada and India were the most represented. 27% of the student body is International
