I can tell you didn't read the indictment. There's a lot in there, but here are two highlights:
1. he is on tape telling a few members of his Bedminster Golf Club that he didn't de-classify certain national security docs, and then showing them the same documents.
2. most of the serious charges are about obstruction, not
whether certain docs are declassified.
Now, whether the stated facts in the indictment are true or not remains to be seen, but if 20% of this stuff is true, Trump's in trouble.

I think we need more details. This article says he didn’t show anyone a document, but sounded like he was waving a piece of paper around. It also says the recording captured him saying he can’t show it to anyone.
This was also before he returned documents that were subpoenaed.
So, sounds like Trump is saying I returned the document I was talking about (that I didn’t show anyone). With the DOJ saying we don’t think you returned it (without knowing what document he was even talking about).

It doesn’t matter what he said. The documents are declassified. Period. End of story. There is no possible crime because of the PRA.
