That's a complete myth. It was a white only nation until the late 1860s. The "melting pot of racial diversity" was pushed by a certain person (naming him would get labeled anti-semitic) in the early 1900s.

I would highly encourage people to go back and look at Roman history during this time. Save for the murders, it very similar to what we are going through now. History is repeating itself. We are escalating things from both sides beyond control, which led to its collapse. The moderates have to take back control from the extremists in this country.

And great escalation of power from all sides, increasing social welfare, and civil wars. We are basically on the brink of that. I shutter the 2020 election one result or the other. I fear if Trump wins, mass riots nationwide and people begin to assassinate Republicans that then spirals our of control. If a Democrat wins, then follow this up with calls to communism and revoking the First and Second Amendments even through non-constitutional means, which will lead to us starving in the streets.

That's not only a gross oversimplification but inaccurate as well. But frick Rome anyway. They were a conquering Empire. Something the United States is not supposed to model itself after.
The issue really isn't a big deal. Someone just told you to care more about it recently and now you guys are all up in arms. Immigration has actually slowed down in recent years

It in no way gives a president power to do anything he wants. Pelosi with her gun control nonsense wouldn't make it through the courts.
Trump and immigration already have precedent thanks to your liberal overlords.
In short. frick off. The emergency is 100% the fault of Pelosi putting illegal aliens ahead of the US. Trump offered concessions and she refused to help her country or the daca dreamers. So once again frick off.

Not super close now. Closest border is about three and a half hours away. It's the United states-mexico border
