Any emergency for guns would be tossed out by the Supreme Court without a doubt. Nothing on the books gives the President power to tax the hell out of people over the climate.
Quit buying into the hysteria. There is Precedent thanks to Obama and his dreamers when it comes to immigration. He opened the door for Trump. Just like Democrats are the ones who destroyed the filibuster giving McConnell the nuclear option. Trump is simply using a tool exploited by Democrats FIRST.

Too bad there is not something like a National Epidemic of Mass Opioid Deaths wiping out the heart of the country , which could be curved drastically, by a Physical, Southern Border Wall, Funded by a Declaired National Emergency from Our President
Think of how sick an individual must be, to seek out a drug that is known to have an O/D BodyCount.
Think about how many people in a large crowd, who would be on Heroine. Now think bout everyone of those people swapping needles Burners. Each one having a revolver to their head and got 4 of’em locked & hot, while they steadily snapping steel, standing in that same crowd.
It’s probably something like 3:10..

They should really remove the word emergency and just say executive action or something.
Have y’all seen the list of current national emergencies? There is one involving the country of Burundi.
I think the point of criticism goes back to should we use billions of taxpayer money for this supposed “emergency.” And yes the next dem President will most certainly use this in logic to declare their own and divert untold billions.
It’s socialism, and spending your money that wasn’t approved by an elected congress.

$5 billion is nothing. It is less than California spends on illegal services per year.
They simply refused to do something that might help the country to spite Trump. That is a simple undeniable fact.
If Trump believes this is a crisis. Then I have no problem with him using his Executive powers. Democrats have already abused the hell out of Executive powers and there is absolutely no reason to believe they won't increase the abuse next time they are in office.
Combination of spineless Republicans and TDS filled democrats. I don't have a problem with him using Executive powers. Did he not try the standard way.
How may times over the last month have liberals on here mocked conservatives saying we should have passed the wall legislation by circumventing cloture. See. They mocked us for trying the correct way to pass legislation. They are willing to use any rule / trick in the book. Time we pony up and do the same because nothing is going to stop the escalation.
