Not all trump supporters are cultists.

Never thought that. There are those that explain away everything.

That’s cult behavior.

I agree that it's never been this divisive politically in our lives

I do know that I agree more with the conservatives in my life and who I encounter much more than the progressives I encounter in the real world

the progressives in real life are much more determined to destroy the fabric of our society and aggressive than conservatives. seems to me that conservatives are constantly on defense while progressives are constantly attacking

Progressives suck. That’s clear

Trump has proven he’s not the right one to defeat them.

There are definitely trump supporters who rationalize all of his negative behaviors but that's the progressives' SOP.

unfortunately it has come to a point at which we have to choose a side.

who would you choose then?

I was a big Desantis supporter as Florida's governor when I lived and worked(2020-2022) on the Florida Panhandle. I voted for him when I was there. but unless something dramatically changes, he will not beat Trump. I've stated this many months ago.

again, it will likely come down to Trump and Biden and with his many faults I will vote Trump

It’s over. We have stupidly gone with Trump.

It is what it is.

I often feel the same way. Unfortunately, it will probably get much worse. Have to keep fighting though. The other side is counting on wearing us down

What I dont get is thinking that Trump is.

Over Biden? easily... by light years better. 90% of Trump fatigue is rooted in the machine's response to Trump. The fake news, impeachments, investigations, indictments, twitter hissies, whistleblowers, doctored warrants, women appearing out of nowhere with thirty year old sex assault claims, neocons crawling out of the shadows... all forces that vanished like a fart in fricking the wind when they got their guy in power.

Frankly, I dont think we survive another four years of the planned political cooption of the DOJ, deep state, and the judiciary. If Ron, or any Rep for that matter is the nominee, they'll get my vote just the same, but that wont happen.

This is the thing. You and I probably agree on 90 percent of issues. We react to outrageous claims with outrageous reactions.
You and I agree trump isn’t a pedo. We also agree he is a misogynistic pig. So why are we arguing over whether he went backstage or in a dressing room in the miss universe or miss teen USA pageant?

Trump is going to be the nominee if not for the lawfare working. I think we both agree the lawfare is wrong.

We are arguing over unimportant stuff. We should be arguing against lawfare.

The only difference between you and roadgator is you will enthusiastically run to the polls to vote for Ron Desantis over Joe Biden. He will stay home and pout if Trump is the nominee, then spend the next four years bitching that "we" couldnt vote him out.

Here’s the rub. Trump if elected will only have 4 years. Lame duck from day 1.

They will just “resist” and wait him out leaving nothing but EOs just like last time. And just like last time they will be wiped out.

No lasting progress.

I hope not. Roadgator is an intelligent person. At least from what I’ve gleaned over the years. There isn’t a single person who can think walking backstage is worse than showering with your daughter.

I think he is all in on trump being prevented from running. And if that’s the hope, so be it. There are a lot of things about trump I don’t like. I refuse to let the left dictate who runs against them. My vote means nothing. But I won’t cower to the left.

I like DeSantis. He will not win. I like Trump. He has a shot. I’ll vote for either happily. What I take objection to is in a thread about Epstein, fellow conservatives trying to lump Trump into the fray. They know he isn’t a pedo. Yet they will muddy the waters. It cheapens the chances anyone is actually held to account.

I have moved to Utah from Florida.

I don’t know the voting patterns here yet. I assume it’s conservative entrenched.

If it there is any doubt at all, I will hold my nose and vote and it will be against the progressives.

I’ve stated this multiple times.

We had a better option and he wasn’t selected. So no, I will not sit at home. There is no need to make stuff up.

I’m with you. He sucked. He did shed a light on the corruption. What I hate is allowing the lawfare to win.

And my point is that some men who become rich and powerful don't want to have sex with young girls and aren't psycho.

Desantis held up pretty well in Florida against the Lawfare.

I know he has less baggage but still.

I can’t stand the Lawfare either but we better learn to use it.
