Murdoch's kids who are in the succession battle are in their 50s and 60s. Most of them are libtards. Murdoch owns 40% of the company, you would basically need every other shareholder to vote against them lol
The Murdoch trust also dominates the Class B voting shares - basically shareholders are just entitled to asset ownership, they dont have real say in the business.

You could be 100% right on that, I can’t and won’t say that I’m extremely knowledgeable on that particular subject. Going back to the original point, I’m still not convinced that immediately upon Rupert’s death that there will necessarily be a full blown campaign to “turn it into another NBC.” But, again, I admit that’s mere speculation and intuition.

He set up a trust, to help his heirs avoid tax, giving equal power and shares to his kids, he has six of them. Apparently three of them wanted to take the companies in full CNN mode, probably how Paul Ryan ended up there.
Rupert had second thoughts and wanted to change it giving control to his eldest Lachlan who wanted the empire to remain conservative. Vegas court said not so fast.
The trust expires in 2030, but poor ole Rupert is 94. Kids could end up selling the whole empire off, worth 24 billion US, before the ole man is even in the grave.
The guy has been married five times, the latest last year, kids and grandkids from different ones, viagra aint got nothin on this fella.
Think what you will about him, tough to build an empire, try and give it to the kids tax free, and watch them screw it up before you are even in the grave.

There is a series on HBO I think? I watched it, but it’s about how he raised his kids and ran his business.
He’s pure scum! He purposely pinned his kids against each other in a dog eat dog environment since they were kids to see who would be “strong enough to take over his empire” and they are soulless. Heartless sacks of shite! Hope Trump crushes him!
