I really wish Trump would get the F off Twitter. He told Tanker ships that they would be safe going through the Straight of Hormuz and they were attacked. That was unresponsible of him. He also promised that they would have US escorts, but that won't be for another couple of weeks

It turns out that the US has destroyed 100% of Iran’s military capability. Yet, to combat a military with no capability he is left pleading with allies he has regularly insulted to save him in the Gulf.

Tbh the marines could be fast tracked into other LHD’s in the area by flight.
Special forces I would think would likely go in before the marines did though.
