re: Trump administration contends it has no duty to return illegally deported man to US

This guy is literally a citizen of El Salvador. He's in his own country.
If he was wanted for a crime in the US and if we have an extradition treaty with El Salvador, the US could seek extradition.
Other than in the case of extradition (which doesn't apply in this case), why would the US ask another country to send its own citizen to the US?

the man is in his home country that he is a citizen of. where in the Constitution does it give the executive branch the right to invade a sovereign country and kidnap their citizens?
so how did trump spring a$ap rocky? he seemed very eager for that headline

It is "facilitate his release" in the SCOTUS Order. No order for governmemt to bring him to the US

Why would a federal district court judge order the Executice Branch of the US to take an El Savadoran citizen out of the custody of an El Salvadoran prison.
Are people that uneducated about separation of powers or about kidnapping?
We have a legal education problem in this country.

of course i can friend
point being, a us president can get damn near anyone out of any jam if they want to, especially with a nobody like el salvador. trump doesn't want to because he's invested in whipping up the base with outrage about immigrants
they made a mistake deporting this guy. and not just deporting him back to the beach in el salvador like maga likes to portray it, but one of the worst prisons on the planet
and trump will never admit he made a mistake
this is all about fragile ego

The guy is a citizen of El Salvador. The justice department of El Salvador can determine whether this guy belongs in their prison or not.
Trump's primary concern was getting the guy out of the US. He did that, job done.
If this guy were a US citizen like ASAP Rocky, it would be different.

These are the retards we are up against. Trump deported a known El Salvadoran gang member to El Salvador, and he's somehow pathetic for doing so.

False. The DOJ even admitted they made a mistake.
Instead of fixing the problem, the scrupulous DOJ more or less fired their own attorney for telling the truth, and are now dragging their feet on rectifying the situation.

You're thinking of Khalil who was already ruled deportable by a judge
