Six pages of wasted time….Trump proposes stuff like this to try and pick up union votes, plus everybody would like not to pay taxes on their wages or overtime wages…but, he got your attention….he will say anything to pick up votes.

This is great electioneering, and it has the merit of being fair. Reagan used to give the example of two taxi drivers, one who worked more hours than the other, and he would ask, “Why should the harder worker pay more in taxes?” It’s a good question. At the least, the overtime should not put the worker in a higher bracket, which it does now.

However, what are we doing about the $36 trillion debt and the giant annual deficit? Cutting revenues, it seems. The only talk about cutting spending seems to be “efficiency in government” which we know is going to yield peanuts. Tariffs? Sure, you can raise some revenue that way, but at the expense of the consumer.

This would easily be the most pro-worker move to come out of this election if he did this.

Seeing the leftist whine about this is great. Just going to save it and when the cackling commie proposes this and they suck it off just gonna bring up their post.

Smart move by Trump. I think he needs to keep hammering no tax on tips and that comrade was the deciding vote on giving irs more power.

Why don't you tell me the plan to lower my taxes? Or have others pay their fair share

He already has. He will make the current tax rates permanent. If he isn’t elected they are going to let them expire, raising your taxes.

Someone else paying more isn’t going to lower your tax liability.
