Why do these athletes keep ending their careers and lives? Their risk/reward with Covid isn’t hard to figure out

People often claim that there has been an increase in cardiac arrest in kids since vaccination started. And athletes too are thrown in the mix.

It is tough to get data on athletes because who does or does not qualify? A 10 year old in little league or a 78 year old doing a 5k? A moutain climber? An overweight guy on the PGA tour?

But we can get a better grasp of kids.

Last week an internet link that was going around the internet was a video that was making the case that 400 instances of kids heart attacks over 6 months demonstrate the dangers of the vaccine. This may seem like an obvious conclusion to draw, but the reality of the situation is that this is not out of the norm.

There is no consensus on numbers of out of hospital pediatric cardiac arrest the CDC estimates about 2000 a year in people under 25 IN THE USA. The video was reporting 400 cases WORLDWIDE in 6 months.

So all these numbers are within typical numbers and in line with past years.

What worries me is people read, see and believe the original story and never see the follow up additional research disproving it or at least providing more information. Just because numbers look bad initially does not mean that they are out of the norm. It is obvious that people die, but we don't really think about the scale on which that occurs, so even though 21,000 vaccinated people dying sounds like a lot, if one takes into consideration how many people die in a normal, non-pandemic year it becomes obvious that 21,000 is not in any way evidence of a problem.

When comparing groups of people that are not equal in size one must compare rates rather than absolute numbers. It was stated that 88 vaccinated people died in Massachusetts last week and compares it to the 152 people who were not fully vaccinated, without taking into account the fact that the vaccinated group is 3x the size of the group that is not fully vaccinated.

Athletes are really in a tough spot. They’re forced to choose between:
a. Being barred from competing due to vax and testing requirements; or
b. Risking health complications that could prematurely end their career

So, 100% of losing all of your income or a smaller percent chance of losing all of your income…

If it saves one life. Doesn't matter how many it ruins in the process.

Vaccination mandates are based on bunk scientism, but that doesn’t change the reality that they exist and athletes, more so than any other career field, are forced to work under those rules or not work at all.

so your main worry is that someone may be hesitant to take the vaccine rather than whether the vaccine is actually safe? I sincerely hope you aren't a doctor or any other type of health professional. I don't know whether it's safe or not but have no problem with people asking questions especially when governments worldwide are FORCING people to get the jab
