I’m 35, and it was you who proudly boasted about your sexual escapades with the homeless
Tell me what you think a CEO does.

Tell me what you think a CEO does.

They should have done this long ago. The problem I have is that they will do it wrong. They should incorporate themselves and work as independent contractors for the hospital. This prevents the hospital from having to match their payroll taxes and it allows them to take control of their own money.

Sorry, words have meaning. Maybe you should express yourself more clearly, instead of being emotional. I don’t think I’ve ever wished death on someone on the internet. Pretty sad coming from you.

He said he worked in radiology. Not that he’s a radiologist. He could be an imaging specialist for all I know and that’s a certificate you can earn online.

The issues a CEO of a major hospital has to deal with would make your head spin. These people work insane hours and have hundreds of issues coming their way daily. The job pays very well but it also taxes you in ways you can’t even imagine. 99% of the population would not choose to deal with the stress even if offered the pay.

Outside of practicum, you probably can.

quote:Generalizations are always dicey. There may be a competent Hospital CEO relative to compensation level out there somewhere. But they are few and far between. There is generally a chasm between Hospital CEO competence level and that of industry leaders in other fields.
the same value as a CEO

Sorry, bud. Those nice crisp and clean degrees from Delgado and Southern have them fast-tracked for C-suite jobs.

Oh, I respond similarly every time middle aged men talk about having sex with homeless men on a political board? And that bothers you? And I’m supposed to care?

How are you measuring this?
Just nursing opinion? Or business office statistics?

What’s your point?

Still waiting for the news to break about the National CEO shortage.

Speaking of which, do you still keep in contact with the homeless guy you took in? Did he ever get his life together or was your help ultimately futile?

quote:I'm not sure what you were trying to say there, but Hospital Administrators often have no clue as to the clinical ramifications of their jobs or decisions. Worse yet, they often don't care, because they are simply not paid to care.
The CEO has responsibility of every nurse, and ever doctor working in that hospital.
