I guess the ease of teaching is why there’s a National teacher shortage. That explains the National nursing shortage too. People don’t want these super easy, well-paying jobs. That is the only rational explanation. Glad y’all are here to solve these issues!

My brother is a nurse so I know how easy it is to become one and maintain employment as one.

Lower the requirements and you'll have more applicants.

Voila.

It shouldnt require a 4 year degree. In some places, older kids teach the younger ones.

You graduate with a degree, you get a job.

That doesnt happen with CEO's Gomer.

Ok we have already established that you are firmly in the CEO corner when it comes to this.

Justify this to me "Gomer"

We established the hospital CEO makes about 80 times more per hour than a nurse.

You roll into the ER bleeding put with a gunshot wound to the chest. The nurse is stopping the bleeding and startmeds to save your dumbass. in that hour of work, the nurse gets $40 for the hour. Meanwhile the CEO is upstairs at his desk, checking email and drinking his coffee during that hour. He makes $3,200 in that hour for doing so...

Tell me now, which one is more valuable?

Nah, I just want them to know how stupid their patient thinks they are. Why are you opposed to that?

The one that’s ensuring the hospital is operating properly, to help keep that nurse employed, so they have the opportunity to provide that care

The CEO has the responsibility of every nurse working there. Not just one, but all, plus the doctors, janitors, clerical workers...

You apparently can't see how far things are out of whack. Next time you go to the hospital, ask to see the CEO. You're a believer in that you get what you pay for.

Scared that the stupid nurses might hurt someone who calls them stupid? Hmm. Words have consequences.

In your opinion.

If there truly is this nursing shortage, you should be able to write your own check. But that might require relocating.
