I'm telling you what I know first hand from people I served and retired with from the military that are supervisors (non-bargaining) in some fedgov agencies.
The union isn't doing shite and the employees are freaking out because of it.
For years, the AFGE has pushed the fedgov for a "work-life balance", that shite is done. The AFGE reps are neutered af right now.

The bargaining employees have felt untouchable for many years and felt that the AFGE was all-powerful.

ok, and i just showed you the lawsuit they filed. that is 'doing shite,' is it not?
whether they'll have any success with it is anyone's guess, but their constituents would be storming the ramparts if they were truly doing nothing at all.

despite all the screeching, not one of them has shown a single instance of their PII even being accessed, much less misused.

That lawsuit is just a joke. The union presidents are more worried about keeping their union-only GS jobs that they aren't doing anything. They're even telling the supervisors "do what you want" because they don't have the stomach for a real clash against DOGE.

You had fedgov employees post-election threatening walkouts, malicious compianice and basically trying to use leverage of shutting down the fedgov.
