Same thing in '93. New Orleans MEPS had Lurch who looked like he had 9" sausages as fingers and there was no way that I was signing If I had to get the finger. LOL.

They called MEPS something else in the late 70s and early 80s. Armed Forces Entrance Examination Station or something like that. I went through the one in Nashville twice and nobody tried to put their finger near my butt.
