The problem with solid and well reasoned conservatives is that they can't win a national election. A lot of them seem to almost relish that. No pressure when you expect to lose. You can just dream about honor and a mythical American ideal in a bubble while out in the real world the liberals keep destroying the culture until there isn't anything left. Some of us got sick of losing. That's why we chose TRUMP. TRUMP is a winner. Don't believe it? You're wrong. Solid and well reasoned conservatives are welcome to keep losing with guys like John McCain but I'm glad most made the reasonable decision to WIN with TRUMP in 2016.

He handled it poorly from a political perspective and it made him look like a fool

He could have worded that a lot better

Im not sold on this idea that you cant be tough and an a-hole when you need to be while at the same time maintaining dignity and integrity.

Trump is a thin skinned beta bitch who postures as an alpha because he appeals to the lowest common denominator of our country and personifies their anger as you say. He is an entitled trust fund baby who is completely caught up in his own ego. I dont think that is some necessary precursor for representing conservative ideals.

But hey what am I typing all that out for on a forum where half the population is posting Leo champagne gifs at a mans death and a post celebrating the death and prospect of a 19 year old girl burning in hell gets 40+ upvotes. Pearls before trash.

Amen. The trash on this board that would joyfully celebrate the death of a man that dedicated his life to serving his country is disgusting. And yes Trump is thin skinned, I don't oppose everything that he has done, but as a human being he is a petty bitch.

I should've stayed home rather than voted for him.

Guys like Romney and McCain can't win a national election in the 21st Century. It's the world we live in. If you hate boorish behavior in a leader more than you love winning elections, then get used to being ruled over by liberals.

You have to give him credit. At least he went on stage and conceded when he lost.

McCain had no interest in winning that election. Not that he would have won anyway but it was as bad of a campaign as I have seen. No urgency. He pandered to Obama for christ sakes.
