Trump? I wouldn't want him dealing with a crisis of any kind

TBH, I would think a crisis with Trump’s inner circle would play out like the Sum of all Fears (book version).

Irrational, emotional responses with petty sniping amongst figures.

I bet that sounded cute and pithy in your head.

Evoked some feel good emotions about putting that idiot rightie in an educated perspective right?

Because that’s all that matters, right?

The feeling?

Not the fact that Osama had already been tossed overboard into the ocean more than a year prior to Benghazi?

I would hope so. Did you want Bush to scream, running from the classroom like his hair was on fire? I thought Bush showed an amazing calm about him. Kind of what we needed that morning, in my opinion.

A+ on your fact checking. Obvious fail for me.

C- on your lawyerly rhetorical flourish. Keep at it, though. The midterms may require more than the usual pedestrian spin.

As someone from New York, whose father was NYPD, while I disapprove of Bush’s globalist agenda, he handled 9/11 aftermath well. The image of him visiting ground zero where the first responders told Bush “We can’t hear you” as Bush as talking, when Bush said something like “We hear you though!” Having the 2004 GOP Convention in MSG was a nice gesture too.

It's easy to not act shocked to an attack when you knew it was coming.

I enthusiastically voted for his second term. So what? I'd have voted for a third term as well if he was running against Obama.

I imagine Trumps reaction to that kind of news would be swift and over the top. It’s probably good that the rest of the world would think if they attacked us Trump would nuk’em.

There are countless valid reasons to criticize W.

And this assclown chooses this. I commend him for continuing to read.

Bush’s composure during those first few days helped keep the country calm. And his megaphone speech at ground zero was amazing.

It was a hell of enough of a time to live through. I can’t imagine having to lead a country through it.
