Yes, he can actually direct the appropriate agencies to seek one.
Second he can also, by EO, remove walls between Intel agencies! And he DID!

Again, this was known LAST FALL.
At the least, he could've let this be known his first week in office.
Why is he just now finding out? And if he's lying and he's saying he just now found out, why would he do that?
I'll get it on the record and say that I find it very hard to believe that this is all news to him.

Just found out in he probably got a detailed report from the agency that has been investigating the issue. Before it was rumor, now it is fact?

Regardless of whatever reason Obama's White House made up to justify.....I'm not okay with one admin spying on another. That's what this boils down to.

Trump is unhinged, if he doesn't have proof to back this up.
IF Trump Tower was wiretapped, it's because a federal law enforcement agency was looking for a very serious violation of law, and a federal court gave me authorization to proceed with the wiretap.
Either way, this bodes badly for Mama Trump's baby boy.
