That's an SJW-worthy level of cynicism. They are the minority, but some celebs do roll their sleeves up and dig into things away from the cameras and apply their resources in a meaningful way. Clooney, Bono, and Jolie are Decent examples.

You realize his org has helped to save over 5,000 victims of sex trafficking, right?

Congress and law enforcement can learn something from his tactics.

No one wants this trafficking going on. It's not a partisan issue. A lot of people are trying to fight the exploitation of children and the issue is finally getting the attention it needs. Kutcher has put those fat pay checks to good use.

Kutcher's organization is tackling one of the world's worst humanity crises: sex trafficking. His organization has done a lot of work and he should be getting more reaources to continue. He is an example of someone trying to make a difference.

He's clearly trying to help.

This isnt a pleasant issue for any of us to talk about. It's disturbing but Kutcher rolled up his sleeves and is trying to do something about it.

Much respect for him.

Kudos to him for putting his resources to such a noble pursuit. I wouldn't be surprised if he's heard or seen things in Hollywood that set him and Moore on this course. 6,000 human souls saved from a terrible fate, including 2,000 children. That's more good than most people can claim in a lifetime.

Not saying Kutcher himself would be involved, but being in the industry so long I'm sure he has at least seen/heard some things.

I respect him a lot now.

He could just take the millions that he's earned and live his life like a lot of other people do. He's actually trying to deal with a major problem that is so disturbing that normal people would rather not think about.

One sad and eye opening thing from his testimony was when he commented on how the feds contacted his organization for help in finding an exploited child that they had been observing for a year. They kept seeing the posts but never could track it. He got pretty emotional when he commented on how sad it was that "some actor and his organization were the last line of defense" for that kid. Not an exact quote but it was kind of a gut check hearing it.

Good grief! Do we have to be cynical about everything? Dude is putting his money where his mouth is concerning a big problem in our world. If you have proof he doesn't really care or is grand standing show it, otherwise shut up and let the guy help some kids.

There are some seriously ignorant POS people in this thread knocking Ashton Kutcher and the work he is doing. You're sitting here wasting time on a message board bitching about the guy that is spending his time and money saving kids from a life of sex slavery

I'm kind of perplexed how many of you took the OP seriously. I don't actually think Kutcher buys slave pussy.
