I"m not the biggest fan of Dave Smith's rhetoric (especially how he plays the "muh CIA" card so lazily and commonly), but he's not this.
The difference is sincerity of the belief, which he clearly has, and the grifters do not. He's held the same positions for a long time.
He's not Tucker pulling 147 degree turns on principles to appeal to the latest online MAGA talking point (like simping for Russia, my god).

This is what people who don’t like him don’t want to hear. You can say a lot of things about him but being dishonest, inconsistent, and contradictory are adjectives you can use to describe him. He probably admits that he’s happy to be proven wrong at least 3x a show

I think he is wrong often but he’s consistent.
He said “I’m probably going to regret it and expect me to criticize him often, but I’m going to vote for Trump. When he does dumb shite I’ll call him out on it.”
And that has been entirely accurate.
