Growing up and even as a teenager and young adult, I had no idea infertility was so common. Once my wife and I began trying and our peer group was at that age, it shocked me to find out how many of our friends and peer group dealt with infertility and miscarriages.

Yeah I dont want to pile on because that is a tough thing to deal with but Butker was right.
Feminism tells a lie of you can have your cake and eat it too. Yeah you dont have to get pregnant at 18 but if you wait till 39 to start because you wanted to focus on your career its not going to be as easy as when you were 29.

but yeah for the most part. IVF sucks, we went through it and had the same thing happen. Our Dr told us after the first time it wasn't going to work though, and that we would be wasting money. Egg donor was the only option for us and I'm sure a lot of other people too if they are being honest with them selves
