If trump stays out of his own way with his mouth and his social media fingers, he will have effectively taken away the number one talking point used against him. He’s in 100% control of that. Question is, can he do it? Two years is a long time to reform how people perceive you….

I don't agree with the rest of the press - I thought Trump's speech was pretty good. The speech was vicious and full of lies, but it wasn't intended for us. I think it worked for its intended audience - Republican primary voters. It hit all of his successful 2016 campaign themes.
