I met a former FBI agent back in the second Obama era & he was the quite type. But he did say that many of the agents of his age / peer range were leaving "in droves" because of the "way-out-the-norm" political environment. He , and his peers, felt like this was a deliberate way to "cleanse" the Agency of conservative-like agents. Those then younger replacements were being set up to become upper-level Agency supervisors & management.

I’m not agreeing with or refuting anything you posted.
My opinion, which is no better than anyone else’s, is that someone resorting to middle school-type insults during a discussion immediately loses a bit of credibility. Doesn’t mean their facts or logic prior to that moment are wrong, especially in environments like legal proceedings. Just shows lack of emotional intelligence. There’s a latin term, “ad hominem fallacy”. I’m more interested in the underlying mental and emotional processes. I find it fascinating.
Again, not that anyone should care what I think.
