Which specific definition of "terrorism" (or I'll be generous and include similar crimes like "terrorist act") in UK law applies to his arrest?

The ones the police used to question him. That’s what allowed them to demand the phone login (which you know but are obtusely avoiding because you’re a fig).

Since democracy requires voting, then yes, your voting is the determining factor. Being able to protest has nothing to do with democracy.

Are you shitting me ?

I think we’re done here. Enjoy making an arse of yourself to pretend that you’re always right.

Bro, it’s REAL democracy when you vote for people who say they’ll do something and don’t so you vote them out and put in someone who says they’ll do what the last guy didn’t do and then they don’t do it.

Which is exactly what happened.

Sounds like GBR is about trusting of "their democracy" as we are ours.

Poliiticans arent in control. This wave of refugees isnt relegated to one nation. Its world wide and systematic.

Hopefully "white flight" becomes a European thing. They've virtually capitulated.

Would you accept them here? Their flight I mean. You’d have a tough time convincing me to not let them, but with what strings?

I’d trade head for head
1 Muzzy for 1 European

It’s obviously not going to happen that way. But just curious where you stood in their white flight. Including THEIR progressive maniacs.

No. Protesting and "Democracy" aren't related.

Democracy is a system of voting.

The ability to protest can be regulated along a spectrum by the state, regardless of whether or not the population can vote.

Even the crazy ones, I would.

As long as they are employable and independent.

He wasn't detained for alleged terrorism.

Schedule 7 permits detention without any allegation or suspicion of terrorism, and no allegation of terrorism was relied upon.

UK lawyer site on the issue

quote:

A critical point to note is that under Schedule 7 paragraph 2(4), an officer can stop, question and detain someone whether or not he has grounds for suspecting that that person falls under s40 (1) (b). There need not be any connection between the persons travel and the questioning carried out; those coming back from a family holiday would equally exposed as those travelling to or from a war torn country.

An officer can also question a person in the border area to determine whether their presence is connected with them entering or leaving Northern Ireland.

Under Schedule 7, an officer can detain a person for up to 6 hours (which starts from the beginning of questioning) under paragraph 6 and under paragraphs 7 and 8 and officer can search a person’s property and person.

They can stop anyone in these designated areas for any reason up to 6 hours.

The law requires you to turn on your phone, regardless of why you were stopped or why you're being detained.

*ETA: it's a bullshite law, but my point is still proven correct.

Thats generally how policy is decided in Parliament.

Even with a majority.

On immigration, it will not matter. The problem lies above individual nations.

Even then.

GBR doesnt have the solid party line votes in Parliament it once did.

Idk man. I’ve saw a poster yesterday who I perceive to be at-worst a Trump sympathizer and at-best a Trump supporter with minor reservations (SDVTiger) get reemed for suggesting that the fed dropping interests rates would not be political as it would be late if it was done in August.

Simply suggesting the fed wasn’t being partial to Biden was enough to get ratio’d and insulted. Dumb.

He most likely doesnt even know the original point.

Or any of the following ones, until his last diverstion.

Doesnt matter which party/coalition is in power. The machine is larger than that.

Its the norm.

I've stayed on point.

You're relying on straying from discussing democracy by

1. Arguing the data we have from democratic processes isn't reflective of the people who just cast those votes for...undetermined reasons with no data

2. Arguing that non-democratic process (protesting) are somehow a part of democracy.

Classic ambulance chasing lawyer shite

And you then have to rely on ad hom attacks that aren't even true.
