Exactly. This is the very typical SFP "Spaghetti brain" weekend thread.

Yes.
I've been consistently arguing that if you want to change policy in a democracy, you have to get support from the people to do so.
Those wanting immigration reform in the UK have failed at getting this support.
Or, as I said in response to OP:

You have to convince voters to support your policies. That's how democracy works.

You also said that protests have nothing to do with democracy too
*insert pedantic SFP response*

Yes , I noticed that and other things like that as well and agree with you that it can be stupid . It happens to me as well. And of course, sometimes it is deserved because we all have stupid takes at time about various things. But that’s a far cry from what I’m talking about. He’s like the “ Awkually “ meme come to life and on an eternal loop. essentially self - repudiating at this point. He’s lost all credibility IF you are paying attention to the specifics of his assertions, over time.

They don't.

I already explained why and you couldn't respond

What about my assertions/stances, or style, for that matter, has changed?
I've been sardonic on here and mocking stupidity since I literally joined.
It's just that people who weren't previously promoting stupidity are now.

And this is just describing the frequency of the silliness, more than anything else.
I agree, a large population of posters who were more ground in reality and rationality in the past, have left the reservation. And we have had an influx of lower-IQ, emotional types (especially since the Q era of 2019 or so). Hell, the average age of this board has increased at a much faster rate than father time, accordingly.

It was a stupid response. You even knew it was a stupid response but you’ll never admit it.

And yet, you can't explain why.
The ability and power of protest is not related in any way to the level of democracy in a society. They're 2 separate concepts.
Hell, even in our Constitution, they're completely separate. Our Founders associated protesting closer with the press than they did voting

Yep, I have been saying this for a while myself. He has become the meme.

Guns won't win this political debate (in the US or UK).
This isn't a political debate. It's self defense.
No different than US cops standing back and letting ANTIFA and BLM run free.
These migrants are having huge impacts on the local populace.

How do you plan on using guns in "self defense", exactly?
Do you think the answer above will increase or decrease your chances of positively impacting your policies at the polls?

Yes, redressing of grievances has nothing to do with democracy

They don't care about polls, they care about protecting their kids against grooming gangs.
They've tried it your way. The media runs interference and more of their kids get groomed.
