You said this.

quote:

Guns won't win this political debate (in the US or UK).

You have to convince voters to support your policies. That's how democracy works.

And yet people still support the current immigration policy and continue to do so. Having people vote for a policy that exists is not a sign that the elected representatives are somehow rejecting voter desires

Over 50% of voters want immigration reduced. Conservatives ignored that and paid the price.

Exactly.

Who is representing the people?

Not those they vote in office.

We aren't a democracy, and we aren't going back to a constitutionally legitimate government through voting, because you aren't taking back illegal giveaways from this trash population.

Its constant devolution with at best slight pauses or temporary drifts toward legitimacy. This continues until violence.

This is 7th grade level stupidity. You sound like a drunk woman trying to talk her way out of a DUI

Who is honoring the will of the population, if most reject the current status?

How is your precious democracy working here?

Their voting does not reflect this.

Untrue. The requirement is intellectual honesty not allegiance to any particular orthodoxy. Bunk Moreland and I for instance, disagree on key issues and have pummeled each other but I respect his integrity. I can think of dozens of posters who fit the bill. They cede points and demonstrate humility and the ability to learn. Then there are highly narcissistic, dishonest posters on the spectrum who spam the board with self- congratulatory bromides that alienate nearly everyone. When they reach that point they get to DVDNR status , which is sadly where Jake Barrister Autiste is , or is headed. This is SFP 3.0, the third version of him we’ve seen. There will be many more versions because he has no integral core.

I don't disagree, which is basically what I said after the quote you curated.

Both of our arguments destroy his argument.

Where is this rejection shown in their voting?

They reject a party of stricter immigration policy for a party of looser immigration policy, and we're supposed to pretend they actually want stricter policy?

And there is the lie

As I said. You choose fantasy over reality.

I will avoid ad hom attacks like you have devolved into, however. But I get why you've changed so much and prefer fantasy.

These lefties have no care or concern about citizens and this being their homeland that is being impacted by the immigration they encourage.

With no 2A all Brits can hope for is sheer numbers.

They simply didn’t go out to vote. The turnout numbers reflect that.
