didn't have a position

Yep, the anti-Indian rhetoric in the "mainstream" media is right there on a par with their leftist kookery.

It is entirely reasonable to compare the two situations because it is just as easy to see Indian beheading pictures and Indian murder plays and hear Indians called pieces of shite and calls for their assassination, etc. etc.

Well, shite, so what that you climbed Everest. There's this anthill in my backyard I stepped on.

Pretty sure so far only right wing politicians have tried to blame this on liberals. My favorite is Garrett Graves who seems to think the free press had a hand in it.

What happened to personal responsibility? You know who's fault this is? The guy who fired the weapon. He's dead now, case closed.

Because it didn't take long for a liberal on this board to bring up gun control after this happened, right? I would say an hour or so?

Heres a few for you, but listening to you alt-righters one would have thought you were a loving caring group. Not so much in reality:

Alt-rights favorite NRA rocker

Trumps butler

Joe Walsh calling for war on obama

This is probably more at your level

Yeah, you're right. We didn't talk about immigration or anything during the election cycle. Not high profile at all.

I absolutely think there is a double standard in the media. That's a legitimate gripe in my eyes. But here's my question to the "narratives kill" crowd that has emerged on this board:

What was your position on narratives when this was happening?

Attacks on Indian Americans

Not enough drama. No left vs. right fight. No Muslim hate involved.

No care.

Are you saying you represent all liberals?
Are you saying these whack jobs do?

No need, I think we all have seen the propaganda.

Surely you're having a difficult time believing in your own words.

It's utterly laughable to even attempt to compare the levels of violence/violent rhetoric between the left and the right these days.

Well, of course it is; the "right" owns the White House.

When the "left" owned the White House, the Obama assassination watch was very real, so was extremist right-wing domestic terrorism, and Tea Party members were literally Nazis.

The best thing to do is to soak up as much of the propaganda as you possibly can, otherwise your day simply isn't worth living.

Why does the right feel like they are being "lectured" about racism?

The defensiveness reeks of a base that knows they are wrong but doesn't want to be told so.

Sad pathetic stubbornness that holds (personal) progress back.

Literally, if this were interpersonal, we'd describe the right as the small immature know it all teenager that stubbornly refuses to accept teaching and the truth.

That is the right when it comes to many social issues. Immature and 20 years behind.

They're spinning it. They're trying to change the subject, talk about other things, ignoring what is right in front of everybody's face. Political assassination attempts. Try to assassinate Trump? CNN will give you an interview. Make a play about assassinating Trump? The Left will praise it as "art" and fund it and turn out in droves to see it and tell you why "it isn't bad".

I just went to CNN.con and the entire middle portion of the home page is devoted to stories about the shooting. There are five of them.

And that is in light of a death toll in London to exceed 100 and a massacre at a kindergarten in China, as well as a mass shooting yesterday in California killing 3.

OP needs a good old-fashioned slap to the face like Humphrey Bogart would give to Lauren Bacall. Never seen such hysterics.

Over the course of Obama's presidency, and with recent events over the last election up to now, I am more convinced than ever that this more than a battle between liberal and conservative ideologies, but a battle between good and evil. There are dark forces at work in this world and they are head-to-head with us right now. Yeah, call me crazy or whatever but it's the way I feel.

I guess you're Bilbo Baggins
