If this justice department had something solid to pursue on Newsom, I don't think they have the discipline to keep it quiet. They would either be shouting the allegations from the rooftops or doing the same through surrogates.
Dana Williamson (his former CoS) had some shady PPP stuff and she may serve time for that, but that investigation has been going on for over a year and if Newsom had his hands in that, this DoJ wouldn't have waited a year to go after him.

They can't STOP any of this from the FEDERAL END. The end they LOST CONTROL OF.
What they are reduced to is PLAYING VICTIM and trying to furiously sell this as Trump TARGETING them for POLITICAL RETRIBUTION, and not the ACTUAL CRIMES they've been committing.
Nothing is gonna stop this.
