Sweet Ben...I wanted you to beat pancreatic cancer so badly to prove it could be done.

I miss you Ben...I pray Chrissie is doing ok. The year of firsts is never easy.

We continue to fight the cause for you dear friend. Love always.

I’m glad we were able to ease things for him a bit . I thought about him a lot during the 2019 LSU dream season . RIP.

I'm sure Ben would've respected you for acknowledging that you were wrong about Coach O. He used to tell me that he was one of O's biggest fans (and defenders), but he also told me that most LSU fans thought Alleva made a big mistake by "defaulting" to Ed O (and I was already aware of that).

I think most LSU fans wanted Tom Herman, but so far Ben has been proven right. The Texas program seems a little shaky right now. Meanwhile, Coach O has one national championship ring and is recruiting like crazy.

Yeah, Ben nailed that prediction.

I would call him Benjamin and he didn’t mind one bit. Loved LSU ball but loved Louisiana and his country much more.

GOD, Please let Ben Coleman Rest In Peace.

A year...already.

Reflecting on the death of someone close, always causes one to reflect on their own imminent...'transformation'.

RIP Ben. Given your personality and goals...a rest, consultation with your Master, and out-of-body overview will serve you well. See you soon.

I mentioned before that I got to visit with Ben a few times. I didn't stay long because I didn't want to inconvenience him.

I should have stayed longer.

Thanks for the photo embo.

I knew you got a chance to visit with Ben & Chrissie a few times. I believe you cooked for them, right?

I believe Panhandle Tigah also did some good things for Ben. Somebody set up that GoFundMe Account (Panhandle?). There are at least 2-3 other posters here who did some good things for Ben, but it's been a year (more) since I read about it and I can't quite remember the names.

I sent Ben a multi-vitamin/mineral supplement hoping it would somewhat help replenish his system with some much-needed nutrients after his body had been attacked by both the effects of the cancer and the chemo/radiation treatments. Ben put up one helluva struggle, surviving something like 16-17 months after the diagnosis. Most pancreatic cancer victims don't make it to the 1-year mark.
