That's not an excuse to not have at least the department head and the highest level directors. I agree that they should limit it if it is that many, but there was a reason the founders put this in the constitution. The Recess rule wasn't so a wanna be dictator could just install his Cabinet.

How is primarying RINOS being a dictator? Please do explain. Is that not the democratic way of changing the people’s representation?

The playing field is level. Your party will control the Senate just like Biden had. If the nominations can't get past your own party, that doesn't mean we should just throw away what the founders meant in the Constitution and it wasn't to just recess if they can't get past the advise and consent.

Good, we shouldn't change the norm of confirming department heads because Trump is a cry baby and wants things done his way.

The norm has been "the norm" since 2014. Bill Clinton made 139 recess appointments, while George W Bush made 171 recess appointments. Barack Obama made 32 recess appointments

Don’t be a big gaping pussy. No one wants Trump to be a dictator and you are a simple minded person for even bringing it up. Grow up and stop letting gaslighting influence you like this.

That's true, we should change the norm because Trump is only having to do this because the 2020 election was stolen from him. He shouldn't have to wait on Senate cucks to get his presidency started.

It’s interesting that you say that, because it doesn’t sound like an originalist view. Originalists typically argue for adhering closely to the founders' intent and the Constitution's original meaning. Are you saying you’re not an originalist, or is this more of an exception to that perspective? Just curious, since most discussions here tend to lean toward originalism.

Do you believe it should be changed back for the next president? Or is it just Trump that you want to change the rules for?
