Bill Maher is a Democrat. However, he does at least take notice of the crap The Left does that's idiotic and tries to make them take notice.
He has pounded the absurdity of Cancel Culture and Political Correctness to his leftists friends and they just roll their eyes. But he's correct on how it makes things the Left are right on become a non-starter for so much of middle America. Not to mention how Democrats have absolutely abandoned the middle class.

I'll never forget Bill Maher claiming he was a libertarian for decades until he became embarrassed by libertarians laughing at him.

Maher is like every other “classical” liberal. They simply lack the ability to understand or concede that their stances lead, have led, and will always lead to the disasters that are socialism and communism.

I like Bill he's a talented guy and regardless if you disagree with someone on a few issues you should have a conversation with them and call out BS when you see it.

The American Left are as far from "anarchist" as it is possible to be without falling off the political spectrum/landscape.
The American Left is "authoritarian" to the core. They see "government" as the solution to almost every societal ill, whereas anarchists see "government" as the ANTITHESIS of a solution. They see "government" as BEING the problem.

agreed. see my statement of i would rather a socialist like Dore be in charge than a statist like Biden.
i mean neither are my first pick at all, but i can usually find something in common with you if you're even just a tick below the line, left or right on the political compass. my disagreement with your politics overall tends to skew the more you go upwards.
