I’d rather deal with it now than for another 50 years of conflict that sparks every few years. It is not sustainable long term.

You have no solution. Just a fantasy that bombing people is going to make them like you.

Okay, one time nearly 40 years ago?

Right. Not a continuously recurring problem.

Iran has used the Houthis to attack vessels in the red sea though

We can't pretend that they're not occasionally assholes that disrupt shipping

I’m not pretending the Muslim Iranian regime is innocent. My heart just breaks for their civilian population, who we’re now targeting at the behest of Israel.

I'm hoping Trump shows some restraint here

I know several Iranian Americans and they're all great people

That’s weird. All these years, they’ve never controlled it. How did that happen?

So your solution is to kill over 90 million people?

It's ok, I can't take people who have no problem stealing resources from their fellow citizens(coveting your neighbors property) and the sacrificing the lives of others in order to spread death and destruction around the world seriously either.

How was it working prior to the strikes? Even after the strategic hits on their nuclear sites a year ago?

Iran is letting many ships go through the straight. Countries are just doing deals with Iran directly and bypassing the US/Trump.

You do realize America is self-sufficient oil wise, right? America is basically doing this for the world, in particular, to stabilize the world market price.

What's the matter? Don't like it when people frame the reality of the positions you support?

You want to take the resources of your neighbors, aka taxes and then use that money to attack other countries. You do that by the threat of imprisonment and/or death to your neighbor.

You then want to sacrifice the lives of others to do that fighting for you.

So tell me more about how you want to level an entire country with more than 90 million people.

It's being done for the petrodollar. They force the middle east and the world to buy and sell oil, and we attack any country that threatens to sell oil with any other currency.

But Iran is doing exactly that right now and is making deals with other countries.

It's not about the oil, it's about control of the oil. The Federal Reserve and the deep state is dependent on it. Other countries want to get off it because they keep inflating the dollar which not only steals wealth from our own citizens, but anyone carrying the dollar.

Inflation is one of our biggest exports.

I don't think you know what a straw man is.

You just aren't use to having someone point out the reality of what these actions are.

What do you think income taxes are? It's coveting your neighbors property and using the government to seize it. If they don't give the amount of money you and your leaders think is correct, you will put them in prison and seize their assets anyway. If they resist that, they will be killed and you will say it was justified.

It's not my fault you buy the propaganda that these things are anything other than that. You could always just volunteer and donate your own money to support the causes you want, but nope you want to force everyone to do so.

And it's no different than welfare, and the other shite for the left either. You're all just so fricking sure you deserve other peoples properties that you only argue about who should get the money you've stolen and how it should be spent.

And when it comes to spending the money that is stolen, you want to use it for death and destruction around the world.

I don't expect a real response, you can't really defend your position.

You’re dead on accurate with this statement. However, you’re not going to get many on this board to understand that.
