They make it seem crazier than it is I guess.
An encrypted email just means the email is all jumbled and to read it you need your own key or password.
It’s just a privacy thing.
Maybe im sending someone an email with my ss# and I want it password protected so only the intended recipient reads it.
Maybe you request through email your W2 and it can be sent encrypted with your own private key to open and read it.
