I don't really know if it's a reflection on anyone or anything, but it's crazy to me that the most recent President of the United States who was not alive during the lifetime of Herbert Hoover (1874-1964) was Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865).
- Andrew Johnson (d. 1875)
- Ulysses S. Grant (d. 1885)
- Rutherford B. Hayes (d. 1893)
- James Garfield (d. 1881)
- Chester A. Arthur (d. 1886)
- Grover Cleveland (d. 1908)

- Bill Clinton (b. 1946)
- George W. Bush (b. 1946)
- Barack Obama (b. 1961)

Mister, we could use a man like Herbert Hoover again.

I didn't realize Hoover died in 1964...after JFK.
Three presidents died on July 4: Thomas Jefferson and John Adams - 7/4/1826, and James Monroe - 7/4/1831.

Biden is not alive inside the head. Does that count?

The seldom heard verses:
People seemed to be content
Fifty dollars paid the rent
Freaks were in a circus tent
Those were the days
Take a little Sunday spin
Go to watch the Dodgers win
Have yourself a dandy day
That cost you under a fin
Hair was short, and skirts were long
Kate Smith really sold a song
I don't know just what went wrong
Those were the days
People seemed to be content
Fifty dollars paid the rent
Freaks were in a circus tent
Those were the days
Take a little Sunday spin
Go to watch the Dodgers win
Have yourself a dandy day
That cost you under a fin
Hair was short, and skirts were long
Kate Smith really sold a song
I don't know just what went wrong
Those were the days

Girls were girls and men were men and freaks were in circus tents.
The funny thing about that song is I highly doubt Archie or Edith's working class families could have afforded a LaSalle automobile.

I remember reading about that. Incredible.
Tippecanoe and Tyler, too.

great corps commander (head of food administration), terrible head of an army (president).
he was out of his depth as president.

the closing theme “Remembering You” was originally an instrumental - but Caroll O’Connor liked the tune so much he made up words for it:

The ol' Roddenberry Gambit
Beyond
The rim of the star-light
My love
Is wand’ring in star-flight
I know
He’ll find in star-clustered reaches
Love,
Strange love a star woman teaches.
I know
His journey ends never
His star trek
Will go on forever.
But tell him
While he wanders his starry sea
Remember, remember me.
