Strange thing about the deep state, very loyal people to work for. It’s true. See they would never sacrifice one of their own to preserve the facade. They would rather all go down with Hillary then have her ostracized from the group.

My vote is manafort Monday to throw the deep state a bone then right b4 2018 he charges all the “elite” dems for their treason and perjury and illegal wiretapping and obstruction of justice
The bone is being thrown as a psych out - he’s reassuring them he’s not a traitor and that he’s still a swamp creature.
but the truth is, he’s cut a deal with the trump admin to turn over all the swamp dwellers in exchange for his own tail being safe. I think Comey cut the same deal. They wanted out and they saved themselves. This explains Comey’s unusual behavior.

Here's a way out of that.
I don't trust Mueller worth a single shite at all and while I would like to see him gone, I'm just taking a wait and see approach to him since we all don't have a choice in the issue.

You presume that the Deep State is a homogenous entity...
I often present it that way, but this assumption is likely not accurate...
A better way to view the situation is that some were given a “get out of the swamp card”...
